Ryohei Kikuchi
Born in Tokyo in 1981. After graduating the Department of Communication, at Nihon University in 2004, he started the career that connects Japan with people from abroad.
Having worked as an advertising sales agent at a publisher that issues English materials for foreigners in Japan (2004 – 2007), as a manager at a Japanese restaurant in Jamaica (2008 – 2010), at a human resource company that helps people coming from overseas to find a job in Japan (2011 – 2016), and as a manager of the business related to foreign visitors at Tokyo Sushi Academy Co. Ltd. (2016 – 2019), he founded Kikuchi Immigration Services in April 2020.
Since he himself was living in Jamaica and Vietnam with a working visa, he fully understands the importance of visa for clients outside Japan.

What Is a Gyoseishoshi Lawyer?
To put it simply, a Gyoseishoshi Lawyer is a government-authorized professional who deals with the process of applications submitted to government offices. There are approximately 40,000 Gyoseishoshi Lawyers around the nation.
Each of them specializes in a certain category, such as a permit application for construction, lodging, food services, and so on. My specialty is the status of residence and visa application.
Generally, you may imagine a lawyer at trial, but a Gyoseishoshi Lawyer cannot deal with a court case. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Bengoshi Lawyer.
It has been common for a Gyoseishoshi Lawyer to apply for the status of residence or visa on behalf of foreigners living in Japan.
The Gyoseishoshi Lawyer with this specialty like me is usually called a certified visa procedures lawyer.
How Our Services Work?
1. Contact
First, please contact us via the online form or phone.
2. Meeting for Estimates
We can meet either in person or remotely by using Zoom or Skype. During this meeting, I will let you know your chances of getting a visa as well as the fee estimates.
You can decide whether you officially hire us or not with the information.
3. Down Payment
Once you decide to hire us, you will sign a contract and you will pay 50% of the service fee as down payment.
Once your application is approved, you will pay the remaining half of the fee as a contingent fee.
*Even if your application is denied, you can resubmit the application once more, after we learn the reason for denial at the Immigration Services Agency.
If your application is still denied again, the paid fee will be refunded, except for the cost of the services already provided.
4. Preparing Required Documents
After receiving your down payment, I will give you a list of the documents you need to prepare.
Although I will ask you to gather the materials according to the list, I can support you closely at each step over e-mail, chat, or phone.
5. Submitting the Application
Once we have all the required documents, I will submit the application on behalf of you.
Even if you are required additional documents after submitting the application, Kikuchi Immigration Services will help you with the process thoroughly.
6. Notification of the Approval
When I receive the notification of the approval from the Immigration Bureau, I will contact you.
Please pay the balance of the fee at this point.
I will continue my support till you receive a residence card.
What if my visa is not approved?
Even if your application is denied, you can resubmit the application once more, after we learn the reason for denial at the Immigration Services Agency.
If your application is still denied again, the paid fee will be refunded, except for the cost of the services already provided.
The fee is non-refundable in the following cases.
– The Client provided false information;
– The Client did not reveal the facts that are inconvenient to them;
– The Client does not submit documents as per instructions from the Immigration Services Agency or the Legal Affairs Bureau;
– The Client does not submit documents as per instructions from us.
– The Agreement is canceled due to the Client’s personal reasons;
– The Client’s personal circumstances make them non-eligible for the application.
Fees
You will pay 50% of the service fee as down payment when you sign the agreement.
Once your application is approved, you will pay the remaining half of the fee as a contingent fee.
