Kikuchi Immigration Services
Ryohei Kikuchi

Born in Tokyo in 1981. After graduating the Department of Communication, at Nihon University in 2004, he started the career that connects Japan with people from abroad.

Having worked as an advertising sales agent at a publisher that issues English materials for foreigners in Japan (2004 – 2007), as a manager at a Japanese restaurant in Jamaica (2008 – 2010), at a human resource company that helps people coming from overseas to find a job in Japan (2011 – 2016), and as a manager of the business related to foreign visitors at Tokyo Sushi Academy Co. Ltd. (2016 – 2019), he founded Kikuchi Immigration Services in April 2020.

Since he himself was living in Jamaica and Vietnam with a working visa, he fully understands the importance of visa for clients outside Japan.

Kikuchi Immigration Services will be happy to help create a society in Japan where native and non-native people can live together.

What Is a Gyoseishoshi Lawyer?

To put it simply, a Gyoseishoshi Lawyer is a government-authorized professional who deals with the process of applications submitted to government offices. There are approximately 40,000 Gyoseishoshi Lawyers around the nation.

Each of them specializes in a certain category, such as a permit application for construction, lodging, food services, and so on. My specialty is the status of residence and visa application.

Generally, you may imagine a lawyer at trial, but a Gyoseishoshi Lawyer cannot deal with a court case. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Bengoshi Lawyer.

It has been common for a Gyoseishoshi Lawyer to apply for the status of residence or visa on behalf of foreigners living in Japan.

The Gyoseishoshi Lawyer with this specialty like me is usually called a certified visa procedures lawyer.
